(Video) Manchester United target stuns Manuel Neuer in 3-0 win over Bayern Munich

Bayer Leverkusen strengthen their hold on top of the Bundesliga with a 3-0 win over Bayern Munich on Saturday – and Manchester United target Jeremie Frimpong took much of the headlines following a sublime strike.

The full-back was on the scoresheet against the current champions along with Josip Stanisic and Alejandro Grimaldo to secure the win at BayArena.

Frimpong, who has been linked with a move to United in the past, scored a remarkable solo effort. His brilliant run ended with a delightful long-range finish that caught Manuel Neuer stranded.

It’s no wonder clubs like United are considering a move for Frimpong if he’s got that in his locker.

Frimpong to United?

Arsenal are looking to beat United to the signing of Frimpong, according to German outlet Bild.

The 23-year-old has been a star for Leverkusen this season and has bagged six goals from 17 games.

Frimpong is reportedly available for €40m, but could move in the summer as he looks to land the Bundesliga title before leaving Leverkusen.

That would be the perfect way to bow out.
