Blue cards to be introduced with sin-bin trail

The International Football Association Board [IFAB] will consider introducing sin-bins in professional football if reports are to be believed.

According to Sky Sports, IFAB will published the detailed protocols for the trials on Friday.

The new ruling will include referees dishing out blue cards, which means players will be sent off for 10 minutes for dissent or cynical fouls.

My instant reaction to this is at least Bruno Fernandes will be full of energy every second 10 minutes.

Jokes aside, I think the biggest issue with officiating right now is not just the referees themselves, but VAR has been a disaster. It needs changing.
