Rasmus Hojlund added to his tally for the season on Sunday afternoon when opening the scoring for Manchester United in their 3-0 win over West Ham United.

In doing so, the Dane became the youngest-ever United player to score in four consecutive Premier League matches, as per Squawka. That’s certainly one way to mark an extraordinary 21st birthday.

Fellow young starlet Alejandro Garnacho then netted a brace to seal all three points in style at Old Trafford as United recorded three successive wins in all competitions – something that Erik ten Hag will be keen to build on in the coming weeks.

Hojlund breaks Ronaldo record

Hojlund also etched his name into the club’s history books following the midweek, emphatic win over Wolverhampton Wanderers; his contributions made him the youngest Red to score and assist in the same game across back-to-back league matches, a feat that was previously held by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.
