United starlet broke a club Premier League record vs Wolves that was previously held by Cristiano Ronaldo

Rasmus Hojlund has broken a Manchester United Premier League record that was previously held by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 20-year-old has become United’s youngest-ever player to score and assist in back-to-back league matches, as confirmed by the PL’s official X account.

It took some time for Hojlund to find his feet in England, but it feels pretty safe to say that he’s done so now. The striker’s goal this evening was his third in as many appearances in the top division, having scored against Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and now Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Other members of the frontline have been heavily criticised for leaving the striker to feed off scraps so far this season so hopefully, the attackers have learnt to become more selfless and will perhaps choose to play through a teammate rather than taking on an impossible shot in such high-stakes games.

Hojlund also set-up Marcus Rashford again for the opener just five minutes into the clash and those pair are starting to form somewhat of a prolific partnership up front – looks like Erik ten Hag’s plan is coming together after all!
