Werder Bremen are working on a deal for Manchester United youngster Isak Hansen-Aarøen prior to Thursday’s transfer deadline.
According to German publication Deichstube, the German side are renowned for operating late in the transfer window and their focus is fully on Hansen-Aarøen.
The report states that Werder Bremen are ‘working intensively’ to sign the academy product from United.
Hansen-Aarøen, 19, has a contract at United but that will expire in the summer.
A lot will depend on whether United want to sanction such a move. The club should demand a fee to be paid for the Norwegian youth international at the very least.
Meanwhile, a report from the Manchester Evening News this afternoon suggested United are resigned to losing Hansen-Aarøen and they could include a number of clauses in the terms of his potential sale.
The young midfielder has yet to make his competitive debut for the first team and is said to have a desire to play regular senior football.
It is believed that a number of European clubs are chasing Hansen-Aarøen’s signature. The other clubs include Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Napoli.
Let us know in the comments section if you think Hansen-Aarøen will be on the move prior to tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
