Rio Ferdinand has revealed Sir Alex Ferguson never shouted at one Man United player

Rio Ferdinand has revealed how legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson handled Paul Scholes.

The former Manchester United defender has observed that Sir Alex responded to Scholes’ errors at Old Trafford differently than how he would react to mistakes of other players.

Rio Ferdinand has been looking back on his Manchester United days. The Red Devils had the former England international defender on their books from 2002 to 2014.

Ferdinand, who is one of the best defenders the Premier League has ever seen, is currently a pundit on TNT Sports.

Ferdinand has witnessed players get the “hair dryer” treatment while working for Sir Alex Ferguson, but he now asserts that Paul Scholes received different treatment.

Ferdinand claims that Sir Alex never yelled at the former England midfielder, who also currently works as a pundit for TNT Sports.

Ferdinand claimed on The Obi One Podcast: “Scholesy. I have seen him get red cards for stupid tackles, it was like the manager didn’t see that. ‘Oh what’s happened? Scholesy has been sent off. I’ll look at the replay later guys’.”

Paul Scholes is a genuine Manchester United icon and one of the all-time greats in football. His contribution to the modern day success of United cannot be ignored.

Throughout his career, the former England international midfielder made 499 Premier League appearances. In those games, he contributed 55 assists in addition to his 107 goals.

Scholes won the Football League Cup twice, the FA Cup three times, the Premier League title eleven times, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999 and 2008.
