Tim Howard has joined the Daily Mail as their new sports columnist.

Howard made a record 121 caps for the US national team—the most of any goalkeeper in national team history. Alongside that, he has 399 Premier League appearances for Manchester United and Everton and was inducted into the US Soccer Hall of Fame in December.

Now, he brings that experience to DailyMail.com.

Speaking about his new role, Howard said: “I’m delighted to be joining one of the fastest-growing, and best, teams in sports media and can’t wait to get started with my new column. I have been an avid reader of the Mail’s sports coverage for years, throughout my time in the UK and now back in the US, and there’s no better time to get started. Soccer is blowing up in the US, and there is so much to be excited about.”

This means that we will be hearing more from Howard over the course of the season. The Daily Mail will have him writing about United on a regular basis because that is where the clicks are!
