‘Here we go’: Romano confirms Jadon Sancho’s Dortmund return is a done deal; can travel today for medical

Manchester United have reached a full agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho’s loan move, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.

The 23-year-old could travel over the Germany today (Wednesday) to complete his medical ahead of the side’s return to Bundesliga action on Saturday.

There is no buy option included in the terms, so there will undoubtedly be questions raised over Sancho’s future at Old Trafford when the temporary transfer draws to a close at the end of the season.

He’ll be looking to aid the side in their top-four charge, as well as progressing in the Champions League, where they face Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven in the last-16.

Dortmund welcome Sancho for remainder of campaign

Sancho’s last outing for United came on August 26 but he has been keeping his fitness levels up by training with the reserves, therefore, you’d expect that he would slot into Dortmund’s starting 11 relatively quickly.

Both clubs will be covering his weekly salary of £290,000, with United believed to contributing around £100,000.
