Diogo Dalot claims that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has already given Manchester United “new energy” and “positive feelings.”
Following his visit last week, the full-back believes that the INEOS billionaire has rekindled the motivation at their Carrington training facility.
Dalot scored for Man United in their FA Cup win against Wigan on Monday night. Bruno Fernandes scored the other goal to make sure the Red Devils come away with a 2-0 win from the DW Stadium.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is hoping to bring a positive change to the club that is struggling on and off the field.
Dalot said:
‘He brings some good energy, new energy, hopefully with positive feelings. New things to conquer, looking forward to the future with a good energy and they are bringing that.
‘You can feel in Carrington already the motivation they’ve brought in and hopefully we can win a lot of things together.’

Employees at Old Trafford said that since the Glazers took ownership in 2005, they had not interacted with the club’s senior hierarchy until Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford met with them.
Ratcliffe aims to bring changes to the club in terms of their transfer strategy, how they should utilise the funds, how they should build their team and how the manager should have the team playing with a unique identity.
United have suffered massively in recent years because of failed transfer investment, wrong decisions from the board and the chiefs, being unable to devise a proper plan on how the team should play. All these problems have created a distance between the club and the fans and that is what Ratcliffe is trying to change.
