Manchester United midfielder is set to leave the club to join Premier League side on loan

Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is likely to leave the club in a loan move and join either Everton or Sevilla.

The 20-year old is expected to get playing time after moving on loan and fellow Premier League team Everton is a possible destination.

Mejbri came to United’s academy in 2019 at the age of 16, having previously played for Monaco. He went on to excel for the U18 and U23 teams before making his debut in 2021 against Wolves.

He has made 12 appearances for the first team thus far, and he is eager to play more so the club and the player have decided that a move away from Old Trafford right now is the best solution.

He has currently appeared in nine games for Erik Ten Hag’s team this season, starting four of them in the league, the EFL Cup, and the Champions League.

According to The Guardian, the midfielder is set to complete a move away from the club soon to join Everton or Sevilla.

United’s exit from the Champions League and the Carabao Cup means the midfielder will not be able to get playing time.

He could develop at Everton under Sean Dyche who would love to have a player with Mejbri’s energy and versatility.

He made an impression when on loan at Birmingham City the previous season, making 41 appearances overall in the league and FA Cup, with one goal and six assists.

Everton are currently looking to make cheap deals and loan signings after getting punished by the Premier League for breaking Financial Fair Play rules and Mejbri is someone they see as a strong candidate to improve their team.
