The first current Manchester United player that Sir Jim Ratcliffe wanted to meet

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has finally visited the club after purchasing 25% of the shares last month.

After months of speculation, he finally managed to conclude a deal with the Glazers and took control of Manchester United.

According to reports, the Glazers will oversee the business side of things while the British billionaire and his INEOS team would manage the football aspect.
Ratcliffe was seen this week coming to Old Trafford for a meeting when he discussed his aspirations for the club with United officials.

The first player that he wanted to meet was a surprise pick and he was later pictured meeting the Man United star.

Ratcliffe and INEOS Director of Sport Dave Brailsford were seen meeting with manager Erik ten Hag and striker Rasmus Hojlund in photos that were shared on social media.

Ratcliffe watched as Hojlund shook hands with Brailsford. Fans believe Hojlund is the first player to meet Ratcliffe as no other United player has been pictured with Ratcliffe thus far.

The Danish striker joined the Red Devils in the summer in a £72 million from Serie A side Atalanta.

The attacker has struggled to settle in the Premier League and has scored just one goal so far this season, although it was one of the most important goals of the season, a winner against Aston Villa in a 3-2 comeback win on Boxing Day.

Ratcliffe will be hoping to see Hojlund firing goals for fun as he aims to take United back to their former glory that they achieved under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
