Crystal Palace star Michael Olise prefers a move back to his “boyhood” club Arsenal over joining Manchester United.
The Red Devils are interested in signing the left-winger and want Olise to be one of their first signings under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
However, the Frenchman would rather join Arsenal than coming to Old Trafford to play under Erik ten Hag.
Ratcliffe, the chairman of INEOS, was able to purchase a quarter of United’s shares and is currently in charge of football-related decisions at the club. He wants to assert his authority on the team and make decisions to change the fortunes of the team who are currently struggling.
According to Football Transfer (h/t Manchester Evening News), Olise prefers a move to Arsenal instead of joining Man United.

The Red Devils are struggling for goals and creativity this season, having only scored 22 goals in the Premier League so far in this campaign. Only Sheffield United and Burnley have scored fewer goals.
Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund have all failed to find their form and inspire United to success this season. The club is current sitting in eighth place in the Premier League and reinforcements are needed to turnaround this disappointing season.
Hojlund has been praised for his overall efforts, even after managing just one goal in the Premier League thus far. Although the 20-year-old possesses outstanding goal-poaching moves and link-ups, he has not gotten much help with deliveries from the wide players.
United feel Olise is the perfect player to bring the best out of Hojlund. The Crystal Palace star has the ability to cut inside or go down the byline to produce for his teammates, he is good at dribbling and beating his man, the qualities that current left-winger Antony lacks.
