Sir Jim Ratcliffe was pictured at Old Trafford on Tuesday for the first time since his minority share takeover was revealed.
According to The Sun, the British billionaire spent two hours at Old Trafford chatting with executives before departing with Sir Dave Brailsford.
The newspaper got a quote from Ratcliffe, too, as they asked what he thought about the torrential rain. He laughed and said: “I’ll have to get used to it!”

The Ineos boss was seen meeting key staff including interim CEO Patrick Stewart and Chief Operating Officer Collette Roche. Ratcliffe met the latter at Old Trafford when he was invited during the rounds of bidding that involved Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.
None of the Glazers were present at Old Trafford on Tuesday, which doesn’t come as a surprise, but this shows that Ratcliffe will be more present at least.
Ratcliffe and his team will continue meetings at United’s Carrington training base today. He will meet with under-fire manager Erik ten Hag, who met with Brailsford at Carrington on Sunday.
