Jadon Sancho has been banished from the first team and is expected to leave Manchester United this month. Reports suggest Borussia Dortmund are working on a loan deal to bring the English forward back to Germany.

The winger has not played for United since late August, after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag following criticism of his performances in training.

It was later revealed that Sancho had a track record for arriving late for training, which is something that he was previously punished for during his first spell at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho joined United in the summer of 2021 and has thus far failed to replicate the form that made him one of Europe’s brightest young wingers. He’s even lost his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

Now reports have suggested that the 23-year-old could be on the verge of re-joining the Bundesliga outfit.

According to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger, United and Dortmund are working on a loan deal for Sancho. The player has made his wish clear and wants to return to his former club on a temporary deal.

It’s a shame that we might not be able to sell Sancho this month because we could do with the money to make additions of our own.

Hopefully – if it is a loan deal – we can get a fee through the door because they’d still be getting a highly-rated player for the rest of the season.
