Anthony Martial is one player Manchester United will to be offering around when the January transfer window opens, but questions remain whether any club will come in with a suitable offer for the France international.

It has been eight years since Martial joined United in a mega-money move. He burst onto the scene with a goal on his debut against Liverpool at Anfield, which led to us all believing he had potential to become a future star at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately, it has not worked out that way. This season he has managed to score just two goals and contributed as many assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are considering a swoop for Martial, though it remains to be seen if it is a loan or permanent offer.

Martial’s contract expires next June and we highly doubt that he will be offered a 12-month extension.

The Frenchman could join Inter and become a back-up option for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

The Serie A giants are also believed to be watching FC Porto star Mehdi Taremi as well as Chelsea’s Armando Broja to bolster their attacking options in January.
