RB Leipzig are the latest club to register their interest in Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, as per Christian Falk.

The 23-year-old, along with Donny van de Beek, remain the most nailed-on to leave Old Trafford next month, with the latter having already agreed a loan deal with Eintracht Frankfurt.

A Bundesliga move may also be on the cards for Sancho, whose last outing for the Red Devils came against Nottingham Forest on August 26, as Leipzig are believed to be eyeing a move for the outcast winger, along with Juventus and his former club Borussia Dortmund.

With Sancho yet to – and unlikely to – apologise to Erik ten Hag for his social media message, in which he insinuated that the manager was a liar, his only option for frequent game-time in a senior squad will be away from United. Reports have suggested that he is uninterested in a move to Saudi Arabia, so a return to Germany could prove the most plausible option.

Leipzig could be turned away from Sancho pursuit

One potential stalling factor for Leipzig is Sancho’s eye-watering wages of £350,000 per week, but if United are so adamant about overseeing his departure in 2024, they could be forced to cover a portion of his salary if it ends up being a loan transfer.
