Jadon Sancho wishes for fresh start at Manchester United

Jadon Sancho reportedly wants a fresh start at Manchester United.

The report from Sky Germany comes as a bit of a surprise because Sancho has yet to apologise to Erik ten Hag for publicly accusing him of lying.

While there has been encouragement to apologise from Sancho’s team-mates, the winger has refused to do so and has not played for United since August.

It is suggested that the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe could change the outlook of Sancho’s future at United. Sir Dave Brailsford and other INEOS representatives may look to address the situation between the player and manager.

Sancho would have welcomed the opportunity to return to Borussia Dortmund, but the Bundesliga club will not be able to afford his astronomical salary.

Another club that has been linked with a move for Sancho is Serie A giants Juventus.

Furthermore, a move to the Saudi Pro League has been downplayed by circles close to the player.

We’ve always stood by Ten Hag when it comes to the Sancho situation because nobody can deny his behaviour fell below the cultural standards at United. The manager must ensure that his players don’t cross the line.

Sancho has been training away from the first team for three months. Ten Hag said Sancho’s form in training had resulted in his omission for the trip to Arsenal on September 3.
