Sky Sports have put a plan in place ahead of Everton’s scheduled protests for their return of Premier League action this Sunday, November 26.

The Toffees are fresh off the back of being dealt a 10-point deduction for breaching the competition’s profit and sustainability rules (PSR). While they’re planning to appeal the decision, it has left them in the bottom three of the league on four points.

They now sit 19th-placed, level on points with Burnley and one behind Sheffield United, having won three more games than the two newly-promoted clubs.

Goodison Park is always expected to be a hostile atmosphere as it is so now, Manchester United can expect a fiery wake-up call when they take to Merseyside in hopes of leaving with all three points.

Sky to take action for Toffees chant

The 1878s, an Everton fan group, have raised over £40,000 from disgruntled supporters to help fund this Sunday’s protests, all of which will take place around and during the fixture; kick-off is at 4.30pm.

An ‘f-word’ chant is also expected to be fired the Premier League’s way in the 10th minute and in a bid to prevent viewers from picking up on any insulting language, Sky Sports may lower the crowd noise, as per The Times. This will ensure that they comply with Ofcom’s regulations regarding material that could offend listeners.
