Sir Jim Ratcliffe will hopefully bring positive change to Manchester United.
The British billionaire is aware that Manchester United requires a lot of work and it sounds like one change set to take place at Old Trafford is the introduction of multiple sporting directors.
Ratcliffe, 71, is believed to be planning a major overhaul of United’s recruitment team once his 25% stake buy-in is ratified by the Premier League.
Former AS Monaco transfer guru Paul Mitchell has been in the running for some time. Meanwhile, other names have been touted such as Paulo Maldini and Dougie Freedman.
According to talkSPORT, there is a strong possibility that Ratcliffe hires Mitchell and another transfer specialist to work in tandem with the former Southampton and Tottenham head of recruitment.
Mitchell is someone that is respected in the football world and he has returned to his home in Manchester since leaving his post at Monaco.
It makes total sense for him to start working at United in the new year. Who joins him, we will have to wait and see!
