An Everton fan group has announced its plans to protest the points deduction their club has suffered during Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Manchester United.

Everton became just the third club in Premier League history to be docked points last Friday after being found guilty of breaching profitability and sustainability rules.

In turn, Bruno Fernandes believes this will make United’s trip to Goodison Park more difficult than usual, since Everton will be looking for a response after having 10 points docked. It puts them in the relegation zone, despite sitting mid-table prior to that.

Toffees fans are upset at the news and understandably so, while Man City sit there with 115 charges having over their name.

Fan group The 1878s are encouraging fans to use flags, banners and specially produced cards during the match at Goodison Park to make their point to the powers that exist at the Premier League.

Furthermore, there is a plan in place to fly a plane with a message over the Etihad Stadium on Saturday during their clash with Liverpool.

The 1878s have raised over £40,000 at the time of publication to fund their protests against the verdict of an independent commission.

  1. Wow ! Where to start. 14 yr + to sort out Man City’s alleged wrong doings ! Isn’t that time enough ?. Chelsea allegedly serious mis giving ! . Both of these clubs should be in risk of oblivion if the extent of Everton’s punishment is a yard to stick , anyone remember Rangers 🤔 . We have to remember who opened this can of worms Leicester City, Burnley to name a few , NOT !! Everton. 3 million penalty for so called bid 6 who could have decimated the whole of the English pyramid . How far do we go back if Leicester and others win thier claim ?? . Should we go back to when City’ alledged mistameaners became substantial enough to be thrown out of the prem, would third from bottom team whom relegate have a case ??? Say it was Bolton , Wigan , how many years would they be able to claim a £100 million a season for lost revenue ??? , what a mess . Teams went down because stay simply weren’t good enough in that season. So called self a important suits are/have reined a simple game by making it so complicated, regulators , being regulated, commissions being set up , all sorts of big brother factors popping up , prem is making so so much money doesn’t know what to do with it so it invents groups of people who have only droned a simple game. Iv an idea scrap all the self important regulators , go back to proper football and the vast amount of money saved put it into grass routs football, now there’s an idea, 🤔🤔, can’t see that happening , wander why ??? VAR ! how can it possibly be defended, in my humble opinion ,and everything said all points to a simply conclusion of corruption and that includes the well protected so called top teams RIP football as we know 🤬🤬🤬
