Marcus Rashford did not take kindly to an infamous ‘Fan Channel’ spreading misinformation about his Manchester United future.

The 26-year-old has struggled for form this season and some outlets – such as ‘The United Stand’ – have decided to get on his case, ultimately forgetting how he scored 30 goals last term.

Erik ten Hag has backed his forward publicly and believes it’s only a matter of time before he is back scoring goals for fun.

However, negative headlines continued last week after Rashford was spotted in Chinawhite nightclub just hours after losing the Manchester derby. Even though he was out celebrating his birthday, it’s not a good look after losing a big game to our rivals and he would be naïve to argue otherwise.

At least he apologised to the manager.

“Yes, I am aware of it,” Ten Hag told reporters at the weekend, as per Sky Sports.

“I spoke with him about it. It’s unacceptable, I told him, he apologised and that’s it. For the rest it’s an internal matter.

“He’s very motivated to put things right. So, he makes a mistake, but that doesn’t say he’s not fitting in. I see him every day in training, what he’s doing, I know.”

Rashford was ruled out of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Fulham after picking up a knock in training, but that didn’t stop him hitting back at claims that his future at United is in doubt.

The United Stand posted a teaser for one of their videos on X, formerly known as Twitter, posing the following question to their listeners: “Rashford’s future in doubt?”

‘Faz’, who presents the video, claims he doesn’t believe that Rashford was injured at the weekend… So, not only are The United Stand spreading misinformation, they’re also calling Ten Hag a liar.

So much for a ‘Fan Channel’, eh?

The founder of The United Stand, Mark Goldbridge, was recently called out by former United right-back Paul Parker for being a Nottingham Forest fan.

Parker spoke out about Goldbridge because he feels his influence is having a negative impact on the club.

“I don’t like what Mark Goldbridge is doing. It’s a problem,” Parker told BonusCodeBets, as per GOAL.

“Everyone has to make a living but you have to be very, very thick skinned to make money off the back of something you don’t like.

“He has no relationship to Man United, he is a Nottingham Forest fan. It’s an incredible skill to do that, actually… To make money on the back of something you don’t like.

“He is attacking the club, the manager and the owners of a football club that you don’t even love. He has no inner feeling with the club and it’s a scary but incredible feeling to have to be that invested in a club that you don’t support.

“But that’s also what Man United are about. It’s a club with a massive story and it’s a story that everyone tries to tap into and be a part of. A lot of people are making money because of Man United but it’s madness. One, they don’t support Man United and to be honest, two, they don’t even like football.

“It’s a club that everyone wants to talk about and somehow it’s possible to make money from it despite not having a relationship to the club.”

The biggest question for United to answer is why does the club give access to Fan Channels that always create negative content about the club?

It’s all very fake.
