Manchester United have ramped up their pursuit of Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey, as per Turkish outlet Fotomac.
The report claims that United have begun exploring the options to sign the fullback, who is yet to extend his contract – which expires in 2025.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have put their own contract talks with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on ice, with his currently running until the end of the season. Instead, United will trigger his 12-month extension and re-consider the Englishman’s situation in the New Year.
United’s right-back options
Their interest in Boey may lead to question marks over Wan-Bissaka’s future, as the 23-year-old would not sign to be a bench player. Diogo Dalot also recently extended his future at Old Trafford until 2028, meaning he’ll be staying put for the foreseeable future.
United face the Turkish outfit in the Champions League on November 29, so Erik ten Hag can get a closer look at his transfer target prior to the January window.
