Manchester United starlet Rasmus Hojlund has finished ninth-placed in the Kopa Trophy rankings.

The award goes to the world’s best player under the age of 21 and the Red Devils forward was among a star-studded list of young talents after his impressive 2022/2023 season with both Atalanta and Denmark.

Jude Bellingham was named the winner this evening, which should comes as no surprise to any football fans given the name he’s made for himself – particularly over the past year.

Meanwhile, Hojlund came in the top 10, sandwiched between Elye Wahi of Lens and Antonio Silva of Benfica. The top five were Gavi, Eduardo Camavinga, Pedri, Jamal Musiala and Bellingham – a host of impeccable prospects.

Hojlund, 20, has netted three goals for United thus far, all of which came in the Champions League. He is still awaiting his maiden Premier League contribution after his first seven appearances, but the Old Trafford faithful harbour no concerns over his prolific goalscoring abilities.
