Amad Diallo has taken the next step in his injury recovery with some individual training work at Carrington.
The 21-year-old has yet to feature for Manchester United competitively since his loan with Sunderland ended. Over the summer, he played a key role in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the pre-season tour but sustained a knee problem against Arsenal and was subsequently ruled out of the opening of the 2023/2024 campaign.
Now, he looks to be preparing for his comeback to the first team after returning to the grass this morning for some running and training drills. Take a look at the video shared by United below:

Amad’s time on Wearside
Amad enjoyed a scintillating season with the Black Cats last term and played a crucial role in them reaching the Championship’s play-offs; he scored 14 goals and contributed four assists in all competitions, making it clear to see why Tony Mowbray was so reluctant to let him go back to Old Trafford when the spell ended!
