There is seemingly no way for Jadon Sancho to resurrect his Manchester United career, with Erik ten Hag keen to put the situation behind him.
As per The Mirror, Sancho will be sold in January even if he decides to admit defeat and apologise to Ten Hag.
Last night marked the ninth consecutive game that the winger has been omitted from United’s matchday squad, as they saw out a tightly-contested 2-1 win at Bramall Lane.
Meanwhile, Sancho continues to be exiled from all first-team action and facilities, and was recently left out of the squad’s 2023/2024 photoshoot.
Sancho’s current exit options
The Red Devils have mooted a potential deal with Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, who were reportedly interested in Sancho in the closing stages of the summer window. United want to recoup as much of his £73 million fee as possible and could send the 23-year-old out on loan with a £45m obligation to buy.
Elsewhere, Juventus are said to be interested in the Englishman as well as his former club Borussia Dortmund, though they wouldn’t be able to produce the price tag United would be hoping for.
