Premier League fans across the UK will be waiting to find out the details behind the new broadcaster deals. It also rules out any suggestions that the 3pm blackout rule will soon be a thing of the past.

Manchester United will be keen to understand what slots will be available in the future – specifically 2025/26-2028/29, which is the duration of this new deal.

According to BBC Sport reporter Simon Stone, the packages are set to be agreed by the end of the year.

Furthermore, there will be five packages on offer with every slot, including the 2pm Sunday kick-offs.

The other times — Friday night, Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon and Monday night — all remain the same too.

They haven’t changed much but they make they decisions to suit the broadcasting companies, not the fans paying hard-earned money to follow their team.

Hopefully, this spells the end of 8pm kick-offs on a Saturday because United have their second of the season – both on the road as well – this weekend against Sheffield United.
