Manchester United Women dropped out of the Champions League after a 3-1 defeat in the second leg of their qualifier against Paris Saint-Germain.
Marc Skinner’s side felt they had a chance after a 47th minute equaliser, but the French side added another two goals to their tally and benefited from a dodgy referee.
Leah Galton had a goal wrongly disallowed which would have made it 3-2. Furthermore, Ella Toone hit the woodwork in stoppage-time as PSG held on.
Supposed to be the pinnacle of club football. The champions league.

After drawing the first leg 1-1 in Old Trafford, United drop out of the Champions League before the group stages.
This will come as a blow to Skinner’s side but one can hope it makes them more determined to set the record straight by going for it again next season?
The women’s team also competed for the WSL last season, however, they sit sixth on five points after three matches.
Tonight’s defeat in France adds to what has been a tough start to the season for Manchester United Women’s team.
