Bruno Fernandes’ form may fluctuate for Manchester United as of late, but there’s no doubt that he’s become a prolific talisman for his nation.
Portugal have entered cruise control in their Euro 2024 qualifier this evening, as they lead Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-0 at the interval.
Fernandes did his bit by making it 3-0 in the 25th minute following a Cristiano Ronaldo brace.
He was assisted by United-linked defender Goncalo Inacio, who played an inch-perfect over-the-top pass, which was chested down by Fernandes and struck sweetly past the goalkeeper. A sign of things to come at Old Trafford?
