Rasmus Hojlund may not have been on the scoresheet for Denmark on Saturday but he put it on a plate for Robert Skov to double his nation’s lead.
The Manchester United forward started along with fellow Red Christian Eriksen, who marked his 125th appearance for his national team, in Denmark’s Euro 2024 qualifier vs Kazakhstan.
Eriksen contributed a sensational outside-of-the-boot assist to set up Skov for his second of the night in the 48th minute and prior to that, Hojlund had created Skov’s first goal.
The 20-year-old showed his pace and scintillating footwork to breeze past the Kazakhstan defence and play a stunning pass straight to Skov, who only had to fire it home.
Take a look at the highlights of the clash, with the United duo playing pivotal roles in Denmark’s 3-1 victory.
