Manchester United fan group The 1958 are planning a flash protest on Saturday before the Reds take on Brentford in the Premier League, following the latest Old Trafford debacle that saw over 1,000 Galatasaray fans in home sections of the stadium on Tuesday night.

The protest in question will take place at 2pm tomorrow outside the ticket office.

Of course, protests occur regularly at Old Trafford and it’s The 1958 who organise them against the Glazer family for most home matches.

This time, however, The 1958 have released a short statement outlining their plans to protest outside the ticket office before United take on Brentford.

A tweet from The 1958 read: “Protest tomorrow ticket office at 2pm. You’ve seen the lies released by the club and their mouthpieces. Marginalising and exploiting out match going fanbase. This is our club. We will fight for the right to support it. Dignity and integrity needs to be restored. The 1958.”

Meanwhile, United fans are running out of patience as the Glazers drag their heels over selling the club.

It is impossible to see a bright future for the club if the American family remain in control.

The Glazers are currently considering bids from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

On the pitch tomorrow, Erik ten Hag’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways. Brentford have won just one game in the league this season so both teams go into the game with poor form.
