Antony ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin scheduled to speak with GMP

Antony’s ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin is scheduled to speak to Greater Manchester Police on Thursday.

That is according to Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, who has written an article about how Erik ten Hag doesn’t need to worry about his job at Manchester United.

The report claims United respect the fact Ten Hag has not gone looking for excuses even though 16 players have been ruled out at various times through injury since pre-season.

On top of that, new signings Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund, Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon all had injury problems arriving or shortly after.

And then there is Jadon Sancho and Antony.

The Sancho situation is only heading one way, with the England international refusing to apologise to Ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Antony returned to action for the first time in a month as a late substitute against Galatasaray on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for United, we lost the game to make it 6 defeats in our first 10 games of the season.

The Brazilian winger had only returned after a leave of absence to fight allegations of domestic abuse, which he has always denied.

However, it is understood that police are still investigating the manner, although they’ve yet to press any charges against Antony which led to United welcoming him back.

The Daily Mail understands that Cavallin, a Brazilian DJ and influencer, will co-operate with the GMP on Thursday.

It is also understood that Ten Hag has support from the dressing room, despite United’s poor start to the season and reports of unrest.
