Jadon Sancho has been banished from all first-team activities as he continues a stand-off with manager Erik ten Hag.
Following the defeat to Arsenal, Ten Hag said Sancho was left out of the squad because he was not meeting the required levels in training.
That would explain why he failed to make an impact in any of his appearances this season, but the 23-year-old refuted this claim on social media and suggested he was being made a ‘scapegoat’ at Old Trafford.
Some cheek from one of the highest earners on United, who has yet to prove why United spent big money to sign him from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
Sancho was back at Carrington on Saturday to support the U18s in their win over Newcastle, instead of watching the first-team lose to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
The winger was pictured with Kobbie Mainoo, who is currently recovering from an injury he sustained against Real Madrid during a pre-season friendly, as well as a young fan.
