Erik ten Hag has confirmed his starting line-up for Manchester United’s afternoon clash against Crystal Palace. Kick-off is at 3pm.
As expected, the Dutchman has made numerous changes from the Reds’ midweek Carabao Cup tie – the first instalment of the double-header vs the Eagles ended 3-0 in United’s favour.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes returns to the midfield after a well-deserved rest, in which Raphael Varane donned the armband in his absence.
Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund start in attack, meaning Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Martial have dropped to the bench. Facundo Pellistri has retained his place on the right flank, which provides another opportunity for the youngster to showcase his talents.
An injury to Sergio Reguilon means that Sofyan Amrabat has again been deployed out of position at left-back. He put in a superb shift on Tuesday night and covered almost every blade of grass in the hour he played.
Victor Lindelof has also replaced Harry Maguire in partnering Varane.
