Our predicted Manchester United line-up for the side’s second meeting with Crystal Palace this week.

This time, it’s a return to Premier League action for the clubs after their midweek Carabao Cup clash, which saw the Red Devils reign victorious with a 3-0 win.

Erik ten Hag is again having to navigate numerous injury woes; the ever-growing list of sidelined players at Carrington has seen Lisandro Martinez added this week, in what comes as a significant blow to United.

Sergio Reguilon is also ruled out of tomorrow’s outing, as are long-term absentees Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Predicted starting XI

Onana

Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Amrabat

Sofyan Amrabat is as versatile as they come, so won’t mind taking another stint at left-back until one of the injured Reds return. Harry Maguire partnered Raphael Varane well on Tuesday so will likely be granted another start.

Casemiro, Mount

Mason Mount registered his first-ever assist for the club when he set up Casemiro’s header. He was withdrawn at half-time, having just recovered from a hamstring injury, but put in a stellar shift for the first 45.

Pellistri, Fernandes (C), Rashford

Antony will be available for selection from next week, so it may be Facundo Pellistri’s last chance to start for a while. Marcus Rashford will slot back into the XI but hopefully, we see Alejandro Garnacho in action at some point throughout the 90, as he was tremendous last time out.

Hojlund

A goal in front of the Old Trafford faithful would do wonders for his confidence.
