Erik ten Hag has named his starting eleven to face Burnley at Turf Moor.
Manchester United are looking to get back to winning ways after a poor start to the 2023/24 season and Erik ten Hag’s side has a great chance to get a winning run together when you look at the fixture list.
There can’t be any excuses any the next run of four matches.
In goal against Burnley, it’s Andre Onana who is looking to redeem himself after a blunder in Wednesday’s 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich.
The back four will consist of Diogo Dalot, Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Sergio Regulion. It is that clear that with Evans starting the manager doesn’t have any other options, with Raphael Varane unable to play 90 minutes just yet.
Casemiro keeps his place in the team despite a number of underwhelming performances. He will be joined in the middle by Scott McTominay as well as Hannibal Mejbri and Bruno Fernandes. Of all players to be rewarded a start in tonight’s game, McTominay must could himself very lucky and he needs to put in a strong performance. Hannibal deserves a chance after his goal against Brighton last week.
In attack, we’ll be relying on Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford to provide the goods.
Manchester United XI vs Burnley: Onana; Dalot, Lindelof, Evans, Reguilon; Casemiro, Hannibal, McTominay; Fernandes, Hojlund, Rashford.
