Manchester United finally put an end to their run of consecutive defeats as they took all three points in a 1-0 win against Burnley at Turf Moor.
A stunning first-half volley from Bruno Fernandes sealed the win for United, but it came from a terrific through ball over the top from Evans.
Evans led by example at the back on the night and was unlucky not not to score the opener with a powerful header.
Fernandes and Evans spoke to Jules Breach for TNT Sports after the match. The Portuguese midfielder waxed lyrical over Evans’ pass, but he couldn’t help but hail is own finish at the same time and we don’t blame him.
