Erik ten Hag unfazed by Manchester United dressing room leaks

Erik ten Hag is unfazed by recent dressing room leaks as Manchester United try to weather a storm following a poor start to the season.

Manchester United have endured four defeats in five games, with the recent coming against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

The Reds travelled to the Allianz Arena during the week to start their 2023/24 Champions League campaign. Unfortunately for Ten Hag, it meant for another defeat on the road – United’s third loss in a row.

There have been dressing room leaks about squad unrest in recent days, but as fans we’ve seen this before whenever the team suffered blips under previous managers. We just hope this isn’t a sign that they are waiting to throw the towel in.

One report suggested that a number of United players were unhappy with how David de Gea was let go by Ten Hag during the summer.

Ten Hag was asked about the leaks and responded: “I don’t know if it’s a leak but I know opinion, I know my players. Everyone can make suggestions, we are okay with it.”

As far as we’re concerned, Ten Hag has our full backing and anyone calling for his head this early is talking out of their backside. He deserves our backing after last season and we have to give him more time to assemble his squad, even if you don’t agree with all of his signings to date.

Up next for United is a trip to Burnley.
