(Video) Lindelof says United are ‘eager’ to make amends for recent losses against Burnley on Saturday

Victor Lindelof has assured that Manchester United are keen to make amends for their recent results in Saturday’s trip to face Burnley.

The Red Devils sustained their third straight defeat – and fourth of the season – when they lost 4-3 to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening.

They are now looking ahead to the weekend when they’ll return to Premier League action, before starting their Carabao Cup defence next Tuesday to Crystal Palace.

Facing the newly-promoted Clarets should be nothing less than a win too, as the side has just one point on the board after a tumultuous start to their return campaign.

Lindelof reacts

Speaking post-match in Munich, Lindelof told MUTV: “It’s all about the recovery. We’re staying here tonight, we’ll try to get a good night’s sleep and recover well, and then fly back to Manchester to prepare for the game on Saturday. I think everyone is eager to play that game as well, to bounce back and get three points, and hopefully keep going after that.”
