Manchester United are back in the game against Bayern Munich as Rasmus Hojlund has scored his first goal for the Reds early in the second half.
Erik ten Hag is making his first appearance in the Champions League for the Reds and amid United’s poor start in the Premier League, the Dutchman will be desperate for a change in fortune out in Europe.
United started the game better than the hosts at the Allianz Arena but a goal out of nowhere killed the momentum and Bayern’s second, just minutes later, handed Thomas Tuchel’s men a two-goal lead going into the break.

United pulled a goal back almost immediately after the restart, however, with Hojlund scoring his first goal in similar fashion to his disallowed strike against Brighton last weekend, as seen above.
Just moments later, Bayern were handed the chance to restore their lead when Christian Eriksen was penalised for a handball in the box.
Harry Kane made no mistake from 12 yards and as things stand, United still have a mountain to climb in Munich.
