Casemiro found the back of the net twice at the Allianz Arena to try and inspire a late comeback vs. Bayern Munich.
However, the Germans outscored the Red Devils by four goals to three by the full-time whistle, with Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane and Mathys Tel all on the scoresheet for their side.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund netted his first-ever United goal in the 49th minute and Casemiro netted a late brace, though it still wasn’t enough to secure the victory.
It marks a third consecutive loss for United. They return to Premier League action this Saturday with an away trip to face Burnley.
