Manchester United have today confirmed their 25-man squad for the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign.

Wednesday was the final day to sign any free agents, hence the delay from the summer transfer window’s closure.

As expected, new additions Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat, Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Sergio Reguilon are all included. Rasmus Hojlund is under 21 so doesn’t need to be listed as those players do not count towards the limit, which is also why the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo are also omitted.

Van de Beek included in 25-man squad

Donny van de Beek is also a notable addition, though it’s highly unlikely that fans will be seeing much of him in action after he was expected to leave all summer. A January exit is now the most probable outcome.

United return to league action this Saturday when they welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Old Trafford. The Seagulls managed a double over the Reds last season, so Erik ten Hag will be keen to avoid a repeat of that happening.
