Bruno Fernandes showed yet again why he’s Portugal’s main man after his scintillating showing last night.
The midfielder registered a hat-trick of assists and a goal during his national team’s 9-0 win over Luxembourg in Euro 2024 qualifying – just a standard day at the office for him, though.
One assist in particular has been doing the rounds on social media this morning; Fernandes struck a trivela pass into the box which was met by Goncalo Inacio to head it home. It’s certainly easy on the eye!

Portugal now top Group J and have maintained a perfect win record throughout, making them strong contenders for next year’s tournament in Germany.
