Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes assisted Portugal’s opening goal against Luxembourg in tonight’s Euro 2024 qualifier.
While Manchester United have had a slow start to the new season, it’s good to see some of our players hit form on international duty and we hope they can build on that when they return to face Brighton at the weekend.
Bruno Fernandes assisted Goncalo Inacio with a stunning cross, sent in with the outside of his boot, only for the centre-back to pick his spot and send the ball past the Luxembourg goalkeeper.
If Fernandes can return to United in better form, we’ve every chance of getting better results – but the same most be demanded of everyone else in the squad.
Bruno Fernandes LOVES the international break! 🔥

Fernandes currently has one goal and one assist in four Premier League appearances this season.
There’s a lot of work to be done when the players return from internationals, and as captain Fernandes needs to be trying to boost morale.
Creating goals like this one would help.
