Bruno Fernandes has opened the scoring for Portugal in their Euro 2024 qualifier vs. Slovakia.
The midfielder has bagged himself a goal to round off his 29th birthday in true Fernandes-style.
He started the game at the Tehelne Pole along with fellow Red Diogo Dalot, and managed to find the back of the net in the 43rd minute with a clean strike to put his side ahead – with just their second shot on target.
Portugal sit atop Group C and look set to qualify for next year’s tournament.
