Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Arsenal: Martial, Dalot and Eriksen start

Six points out of a possible nine from Manchester United’s first three Premier League fixtures. That’s three more point than what we managed this time last year.

Erik ten Hag is sure to be hopeful of improving United’s form on the road after watching his side lose their first away game of the season against Tottenham.

It won’t be easy against last season’s runners-up Arsenal, but I think most of our readers will agree that we’re due a good performance at the Emirates.

The manager has selected a team he believes will give United the best chance of getting a positive result.

Andre Onana starts between the posts.

The full-back positions are occupied by Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo, while Victor Lindelof joins Lisandro Martinez at centre-back.

Casemiro will sit in front of the back four. He will be joined in midfield by Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes, with the creative pair tasked with pulling the strings in the middle.

United’s front three consists of Antony, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot; Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes; Antony, Martial, Rashford.

Substitutes: Bayindir, Evans, Maguire, Reguilon, Gore, Garnacho, Hannibal, Pellistri, Hojlund.

No place for Jadon Sancho…

  1. I fear for mufc tonight, after seeing the worst player ever ; Martial to start. What happened to the new guy? Imagine how stupid are mufc’s muppets , couldn’t even buy a fit striker never mind a top striker.
