Mason Greenwood is looking for a new club and Manchester United are trying to assist him on his journey to another club.

It was confirmed last week that Greenwood, 21, would never play for Manchester United again. The decision was made following an internal investigation that took six-and-a-half months.

Now, United are trying to move him on – whether it’s a permanent or loan deal.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a number of clubs have withdrawn their interest in Greenwood following backlashes over potential moves on social media.

It is understood that while United have received multiple enquiries about Greenwood, once the identity of some clubs has emerged the club have backed off amid a backlash from their fans.

As a result, United are reluctant to specify which clubs are interested in Greenwood.

It seems unlikely that Greenwood will leave before tonight’s 11pm deadline, however, some windows will be open for long. Those include the Turkish and Portuguese windows, as well as the transfer window in Saudi Arabia.

Greenwood has been offered to Serie A outfit Lazio, but it remains to be seen if Maurizio Sarri would take the striker to Rome.

  1. It’s a tragedy. I hope someone will give him a chance. I still think my club should have stood up to those women who’ve sentenced him. Who needs the courts when the mob rules?

  2. The kid was convicted even though he was innocent. Crucified on the cross like Jesus so that individuals would feel better condemning him so that they would not accidentally look in the mirror.
Let the man play. He is still a child and he must have the impression that the whole world is against him, which will surely leave scars on him.
    Let the man play

  3. I would like to know who has never sin since birth .if united has rejected him becouse of woman what if male fans leave the club to be surported by women will it work? because every club he would love to go has got female supporters please we need him .what a huge talent being wasted by united but you will regrets ok

  4. Honestly I don’t know the reason for letting him go know body is above mistake we need to forgive him because if there’s no forgiveness there will be no sin. We can’t just reject him like that we are United we are one family just welcome him back to Manchester united squads again thank you
