Manchester United and Fiorentina are expected to have a new round of talks over Sofyan Amrabat.

The Telegraph claim the Serie A outfit are open to allowing Amrabat to leave on loan initially before Friday — but only if an obligation to purchase the playmaker at the end of the season is included.

A fee in the region of £22m-£26m is another option being mooted.

The latest update comes from reliable reporter Fabrizio Romano, who claims United and Fiorentina will have a new round of talks in the next few hours.

They must be working around the clock as we approach deadline day.

It remains to be seen if United will be able to finance a deal that is acceptable to Fiorentina, but it is clear that Ten Hag needs a new no. 6 in his squad to play alongside Casemiro.

United are running out of time to get a deal for Amrabat over the line.
