Marcus Rashford has been awarded the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year for 2022/23.

The Manchester United forward scored 17 goals in 35 league appearances, helping Erik ten Hag’s side secure a third-place finish.

It was Rashford’s best season yet as he scored 30 goals across all competitions – becoming the first player at the club to reach the 30-goal mark since Robin van Persie a decade ago.

However, Rashford was snubbed in the PFA Premier League team of the year, which didn’t involve a single United player.

The 25-year-old was also named Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for his efforts.

Rashford is yet to score after three United game so far this season, however, he was influential in the comeback win against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Hopefully, Rashford can kick on this season and get back to scoring goals.
