When he was signed on the 5th August, 20-year-old Rasmus Højlund became only the second senior striker in the Manchester United squad – with the other being an extremely injury prone Anthony Martial who missed 44% of last season’s matches through various problems – so the expectation has been that Hojlund will be Ten Hag’s first choice number 9.
Adding pressure to the Danish youngster are reports that Hojlund was actually Erik ten Hag’s number one transfer target – ahead of the likes of Victor Osimhen, Randal Kolo Muani and Harry Kane.
So with all this expectation, what will Rasmus Hojlund actually bring to Manchester United?
