Manchester United will start their defence of the Carabao Cup in the third round which will take place on the week commencing September 25.
The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup takes place tonight following the conclusion of Doncaster Rovers’ tie at home to Everton.
United could face Salford City after they enjoyed a memorable win against Leeds United on penalties.
Meanwhile, Tottenham were knocked out of the cup at the hands of Fulham last night.
We expect United to take the League Cup serious this season like they did last term. It will be our first chance of silverware and it holds fond memories after our Wembley win over Newcastle.
The third round draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Premier League, plus Sky Sports News.
